2. PRODUCTS AND PRICING
We take every care to ensure that product descriptions are accurate at the time of uploading products to the website. We reserve the right to withdraw any product from the website without any prior notification. We also reserve the right to amend prices of products without prior notification.
Our products are priced in Euro. When paying by credit card this is the amount which will be deducted from your debit or credit card. When purchasing products with sterling or other currencies, debit or credit cards, the exchange rates will be set by the cardholders’ bank. These rates fluctuate on a daily basis, for further information the cardholder should contact their bank as exchange rates are not applied by E & M Stores. All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
3. Ordering Goods
After placing an order through our website, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order. This does not mean your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. A second email informing you of the product’s shipment is confirmation of such acceptance. The contract between us will only be formed once we send you the confirmation of shipment.
We may refuse to accept an order from you, as a result of one or more of the following:
1. The product you ordered is out of stock.
2. A pricing or product description error.
3. Inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
If we must refuse your order, we will try to contact you with the email address provided. We will not supply a replacement product without your authorisation.
We offer FREE delivery on Gift cards and purchases over €49. We charge €4.95 postage for purchases less than €49. We charge €12.50 to deliver of heavy household items. All orders received before 2pm Monday to Thursday with a delivery address in Ireland should be received by the customer within 24 hours. Orders placed on a Friday and over the weekend will be dispatched on a Monday morning for delivery on a Tuesday.
Our chosen postal partner for Ireland is DPD registered postal service. On occasion we will use An Post.
COLLECT ORDER INSTORE
When ordering your purchases, you can opt to collect your items instore by clicking 'I'll Collect Instore'. Our collection point is at our customer service desk to the front of our store at 39-41 Market Street Cootehill Co. Cavan, H16 HC90. Your order will be ready for collection 24 hours after the order has been placed. Store Pick up times: 11am – 5pm Monday to Saturday.
When collecting your items instore, remember to bring your order confirmation email which will be emailed to you once your order has been completed. We will accept the email in printed format or on a tablet or smart phone.
Photographic identification must also be presented when collecting goods; we will accept a driver’s license or passport.
4. Gift Cards
We offer free shipping for all gift cards ordered. All our gift cards are sent via An Post and are dispatched within 24 hours of order.
Gift Cards cannot be used to pay on our website and can only be used in-store. There is no expiry date on our gift cards and they are delivered by registered post.
Once purchased, Gift Cards cannot be returned and cannot be exchanged for cash or other gift cards. We cannot take responsibility for any gift cards that are lost, stolen or used by someone other than your recipient after delivery.
We offer a full refund for purchases returned within 14 days with proof of purchase. Purchases returned after this but within 28 days will receive an exchange or credit. Any returns received outside this time frame may be considered at the discretion of E & M Stores Ltd, and may only be issued as a credit against a future purchase.
The product must be in new, unused and unworn condition with tags attached and in original packaging. If we suspect that a product has been used or smell of smoke or any other odour, it is our policy to return the goods to the purchaser.
For reasons of health & hygiene, we are unable to accept returns of underwear once the original packaging has been opened.
Also, we do not issue refunds on gift card purchases.
How to Return
Option 1: Delivery
Please complete the Returns Form enclosed and return along with your items using An Post, or a courier of your choice, to:

If the returns form has been lost or misplaced, just simply write out your name, contact details and whether you are seeking a refund, exchange or credit note on a sheet and send it back along with your items.
Option 2: Return In-Store
Complete the returns form enclosed with your order and return to any till point in-store. Please note, we will refund you the same method as original payment through our online system. Refunds will not be issued in-store.
